“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Wayne Atkinson. Wayne was an active member of the Torque Masters Car Club for many years.
Wayne left us at 12:45pm on Friday, January 22, 2021. We extend our sincere condolences to his family. You left us all too soon Wayne… until we meet again.”

A trip down to Duncan for the Cowichan boys could probably happen a following week end. Stay tuned.
We are not interested in getting in to the mail order business, so pick up in person would be preferred. I’m sure we could arrange to have a batch taken south to Victoria or North if there is interest.
RIP Bill Bartley.... I was honored to be a part of the "Tribute" Cruise we did for Bill. Brett told me it was one of the "Happiest" days of his life. May he rest in peace and I extend my deepest condolences to his family.
Daryl Foster passed away on October 29, 2020. Daryl was a well-known member of the Vancouver Island car community.

We were really saddened to hear that friend Don Bailey passed away recently. I had some nice chats with him at various shows over the last few years. I took this cluster of photos of Don at the Coombs 'Blast from the Past' Show a few years back. Deepest condolences to his family. RIP Don ♥

We were very saddened to hear of the passing yesterday of friend Al McGillivray. Al was a long time member of the BC Hot Rod Association, a true blue car guy and a personal friend. I had many good times with Al, especially riding with him in the Seaside Cruisers Rod Run's. I took this photo of Al a couple of years back at the BC Custom Show with his beloved Nova "ShakyII" Al you were a good friend and I know you will be greatly missed by a great many people! May you Rest in Peace my friend! ♥

Birthday Rod Run!
The September 24th event has been postponed one week due to the rain.
Thursday, October 1 @ 6:00 p.m. The Rod Run is back! On Thursday, October 1 @ 6:00 p.m. to coincide with Jason's birthday, we will have a "rolling start" at the corner of Grouhel Road and Christie Road, just off the Grouhel road turnoff from the Highway. Stop and get your piece of birthday cake as you turn onto Christie Road! There will be no gathering at the A&W beforehand - please proceed to the Grouhel Road exit from the southbound Highway at 6:00 p.m. Feel free to grab dinner before or after the Rod Run from our drive-through. If you want to get food from the drive-through beforehand, please do so with enough time to spare, maybe 5:00 p.m.
