A HUGE shout out to Terry & Linda Dockrill. They are the owners of Mcbrides Service Station and Puppycats Pet Emporium in Chemainus. They have just come on board as new sponsors. Thanks for supporting what we do.
Here is a shout out to our 2 new Sponsors. Gord from Supreme Self Storage and Junction Mini Storage, as well as Chris from C I Delivery. Check out their sites. Show them some love. The support of what we do at vihr.ca is GREATLY appreciated.
Just a quick shout out to some returning sponsors. In these crazy times our operating expenses have increased dramatically. So it is nice to have the support of our sponsors to help out with the cost.
Our Gold sponsor 2 Old Farts Garage is back again this year as well as one of our Silver sponsors Definitely Different Leatherwork. Thanks to Jim, Dave and Al for standing behind us. Be sure to take a look and give them some love.
Northwest Deuce Days Returns to Victoria July 17-20, 2025
Community favorite confirmed for a four-day event in summer 2025.
VICTORIA, B.C. (Feb. 7, 2023) – Classic car enthusiasts rejoice – Northwest Deuce Days (NWDD) is confirmed to return to Greater Victoria, July 17-20, 2025. Every three years, Northwest Deuce Days attracts more than 1,000 vehicles and their owners to Victoria for a variety of activities around the region, including the popular Sunday Spectator Show around the BC Provincial Legislature.
The 2022 event saw strong attendance, drawing classic car owners from as far away as California, Texas and Florida. With the announcement of the dates for the next Northwest Deuce Days in 2025, car clubs and enthusiasts can now add Victoria to their touring schedule and book their stay at their favourite local hotel. Destination Greater Victoria (DGV) has worked with hotel partners, which are now ready to take 2025 reservations. Registration for the 2025 event will open in spring 2024.
Northwest Deuce Days 2025 will mark the second time the event operates under the ownership of Destination Greater Victoria. The event transitioned from founder Al Clark, who is well-known and respected in classic car circles, to DGV ahead of the 2022 event. Slated to return as event organizer in 2025 is Jay Donovan, a well-known custom motorcycle builder who planned and coordinated a vibrant and well-coordinated experience for all attendees in 2022.
Destination Greater Victoria ran the economic impact model for the 2022 event, and reports that the four-day event generated an estimated $2.5M in economic impact. The model considers all in-market spending associated with the event.
Quotes:
"Destination Greater Victoria is a community-governed organization that provides tremendous stability for this event. Over the past few Northwest Deuce Days events, there was uncertainty around the ability of the event to continue on. Thankfully, this uncertainty is now eliminated. We look forward to working with local hot rod enthusiasts and those deeply involved in the event to ensure it maintains its successful appeal to hot rod and deuce coupe enthusiasts from across North America." – Paul Nursey, CEO, - Destination Greater Victoria
“Northwest Deuce Days is a favourite event within the classic car community, with an amazing group of dedicated volunteers from across many different local car clubs. Their continued passion, and the passion of our local spectators, makes for another highly anticipated experience by those far and wide.” – Jay Donovan, Event Organizer, Northwest Deuce Days 2022
“Northwest Deuce Days is an event our team at Hotel Grand Pacific looks forward to. This is a fantastic group to host and we’re grateful to be the official hotel of Northwest Deuce Days.” – Reid James, General Manager, Hotel Grand Pacific
