Passing of Graham Mace
I received some heartbreaking news early this morning. Friend, fellow car enthusiast and fellow Smokin’ Oldies Car Club member Graham Mace passed away yesterday evening while working on his property here in Nanaimo. This news has devastated me as I can honestly say that Graham was one of the nicest guys I have known in the local car community. I always enjoyed seeing Graham and his brother Bob at the car shows and local car meets. After learning of this news, I was thinking back to how I took so many photos of Graham and Bob during Deuce Days and more recently when I saw them both at the Shriner’s Show n Shine in Parksville. That show was the first time I got to see Graham with his new Chevy pickup. I will also miss Graham offering me cold Coke's out of his Coca Cola trailer he towed around with his beautiful "T Bucket". To Graham’s wife and family and to his brother Bob and to anyone else who knew and loved Graham, I extend my heartfelt condolences. I think I can speak for the whole Nanaimo and Island Car Community that Graham will be sorely missed. RIP Graham.

I always say that I am just a car guy living my passion and I am grateful that so many others enjoy what I do
