When you need that car fix but there is just too much snow. Spotted this on Rosstown Rd this morning.
Okay so I have a new mission(Passion) that I am now working on.I want to try and find some photo's of Van Isle Dragways after it shutdown September 24 1972. I feel I have done fairly well with the beginning and during its 5 year run but now want to concentrate on its ending. I have been told that the strip was around for a few years after it closed. I talked with a fellow who lives near the old grounds one time when I was there and he said he moved to the area in 1975 and the strip was still there. So if anyone can contribute any idea's please let me know.Also looking for some construction photos, like the tower. Anyone who know's me well know's that I will not stop until I have succeeded!
